Torev Motors · In-Person, Charlottesville, VA · Student Internship

Date Listed: July 8, 2026

About Us

Torev is a venture-backed company on the cutting edge of electric motor innovation, pioneering next-generation electric motors that eliminate rare earth materials while delivering world-class performance. Our axial flux motor architecture is designed to improve supply chain resilience and enable high-performance electrification across automotive and defense applications.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, your primary role will be supporting the development of control schemes for our novel axial flux externally excited synchronous machines via modeling, simulation, and testing. Additionally, you will support prototype design and fabrication efforts.
